1. In the app: Settings → Delete my data
Sign in, open Settings, and scroll to Delete my data. You’ll see exactly what will go before anything happens, and you confirm by typing DELETE. It usually finishes in minutes. You get a confirmation code, and we sign you out.
What it deletes depends on who else uses the workspace you are in:
- A workspace only you use (your personal workspace, or an organization with no other members): everything in it. Posts and their publish history and results, the image and video files, connected accounts and their access tokens, ideas, design sets, notification devices, brand kits, guidelines, posting times, publishing rules, settings and the activity log.
- A workspace other people use too:only what you created there. Your posts with their files and results, your ideas, your design sets and your notification devices. Your name and email are removed from the activity log; the entries stay, marked “erased user”. A file a teammate’s post still uses is kept. The workspace’s connected accounts, brand kits, guidelines and posting times belong to the team and stay. An admin can disconnect accounts in Settings → Accounts.
- If you press the button inside an organization, your personal workspace is deleted in full as well.
2. Remove AutoPoster from Instagram or Threads
On Instagram, go to Settings and activity → Website permissions → Apps and websites. On Threads, go to Settings → Account → Website permissions. Remove AutoPoster.
Meta then tells us. Removing the app makes us delete that account’s connection and access token. A deletion request sent through Meta makes us delete everything we hold for that account: its connection and token, its posts, results and posting times, and media files no other post uses. Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link back to this page, where you can check the request’s status.
LinkedIn doesn’t tell us when you remove an app (in LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services). Remove it there to stop our access, and use option 1 or 3 to delete what we hold.
3. Email us
Email privacy@zawaaj.infrom the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my data”. We may check it’s really you. We act within 15days and reply when it’s done. This is also how to close your sign-in account itself.
Just want to stop publishing?
An admin can press Disconnect next to an account in Settings → Accounts. That deletes its access token straight away and nothing more can be published to it. Your posts and their results stay in the workspace until you delete them or your data.
What stays
- Posts already published on Instagram, Threads or LinkedIn. They live on those platforms. Delete them there.
- Your sign-in account (name and email, held by Clerk), until you email us to close it.
- One anonymous linein the workspace’s activity log saying data was erased, with the confirmation code but no name or email. We keep it, and the code’s status on this page, for 90 days as proof, then delete both.
Deleted means removed from our database and from our file storage.
